Greetings from the Howard Baker Center! We have some interesting events coming up so please mark your calendars. Attached are flyers for each event. All events are in the Toyota Auditorium and FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Thursday, March 23 at 3:30pm: Dr. Michinari Hamaguchi from JST in Japan will be here to deliver a speech titled, "JST as an Innovation Navigator." Monday, March 27 at 2pm: the Global Security Distinguished Lecture featuring Dr. George Varughese from the Asia Foundation in Nepal will present, "Politically Informed Development Approaches in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Environments: Key Challenges from Nepal and Afghanistan." Tuesday, April 4 at 12pm: PBS FREE advanced screening of "The Great War." Wednesday, April 5 at 5:30pm: Ashe Lecture Series is featuring former U.S. Ambassador to Chad and Benin James Knight. This lecture's title is, "Central Africa and International Terrorism." See you there!
