Join the Campus Events Board and the Muslim Student Association for an evening of great food and conversation with Yassin Terou, owner of Yassin’s Falafel House in Downtown Knoxville, TONIGHT in the International House Great Room at 7PM.

Since immigrating from Syria in 2011, Yassin’s dream has been to bring people together, all kinds of people. At Yassin’s Falafel House, everyone is welcome--from Tennesseans who have never tried falafel to the refugees he hires to make it--to share a sandwich and a conversation. Yassin will give a short presentation on his experience as a refugee in Knoxville and we will screen his short film produced by Square. Catering provided by Yassin’s Falafel House.
