Online abstract submissions are now being accepted for the Spring 2017 Virtual Poster Showcase (VPS) for undergraduate and graduate students.

Encourage your students to submit abstracts at virtualposter.agu.org. To learn more about the benefits of participating in VPS, watch this video where a student and a faculty member share their experiences about the program.

Online abstract submissions close: 13 March.

Presentation of results is an essential career skill to practice and develop, in or out of Earth and space sciences, and VPS is a cost-effective way to accomplish this for students who cannot attend a scientific conference. By participating in this program, students can achieve international recognition for their research.

Don't have students ready to take part now? Make plans to incorporate the Virtual Poster Showcase into a course, research, or capstone experience in the Fall of 2017 or beyond. Learn more about available accommodations for students with hearing disabilities. For more information, please contact me at [log in to unmask].

Thank you for helping nurture the next generation of geoscientists.
