There will be a Free and Open Source For GIS meetup on on May 19th in Knoxville. Everyone is welcome. Right now the cost is free or very close to it.

• We are looking for Sponsors
  • No Booths
  • Anyone can sponsor
  • This is a break even event. If we accidentally make money we will do *something* with it.
  • We have a few sponsors already!
• We are looking for Speakers. Are you doing something with Free and Open Source software for GIS?
• We are looking for People? Can FOSS4G do something for you even if you use Commercial GIS Software? Can you be apart of FOSS4G/Open Source community? (yes if you don't make it)
• I'm looking for people to help - Right now several people are helping with logistics and things. Helping is also forwarding emails out to your friends and neighbors.
• Registration is coming very shortly. Space is limited.

We've done out best to avoid any other conference in the area. Anyway - make plans to attend. Come Check it out.
