Hello Volunteers!
Welcome to VOLinked[IN]: your weekly student organization update! Every week, we will be sending out information about student organization events and different opportunities for students to engage with campus! Be sure to check out go.utk.edu for more ways to be inVOLved in our campus community!

What is VOLink?
The VOLink (Volunteer Organization Link) system has been developed for all students to enrich their involvement experience at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
On the VOLink website, there are tools available for the following groups:
  • Current Students – Track your involvement in organizations, create a co-curricular transcript, search for clubs and organizations, match your interests with existing organizations on campus, or start a new group on campus!
  • Organization Leaders – Manage your organization, share documents, create a budget, advertise your events, manage your roster, search for new org members, and link all of your information to social media sites!

Want your student organization's event to be featured in this newsletter? Follow this link: http://go.utk.edu/volink/frequently-asked-questions/ and select the "How do I create events?" tab.

For more information on using VOLink or additional resources, please see the frequently asked questions page. If you have further questions, please contact Jordan Smith at [log in to unmask]

Senator Scott Brown
It is clear that the country has chosen a new direction. How do we make sense of the messages that voters have sent to their elected officials? What can we expect to see from our new commander-in-chief and from Republican majorities in both houses of Congress, in the long and short term? How might the Republican and Democratic parties adapt or evolve over the coming years? And how does the country move forward and come together, despite such palpable divisiveness? Scott Brown draws from his long history of public service to outline how he sees the political landscape taking shape, from the global economy to the federal deficit and international trade to health care reform, and the various potential impacts to individual and industry. Ticket Information: FREE for Opted-In UTK Students, $5 for the General Public. Opted-In Students can reserve their free ticket at the Central Ticket Office (located in Greve Hall) or online at Knoxville Tickets via the following link: https://buy.knoxvilletickets.com/ut/online.
