We are holding our elections for executive board positions in the coming weeks. If you are interested, please send an email to [log in to unmask] including the following:

1. Your name

2. The position you’re running for

3. A photo of yourself

4. A paragraph about yourself and why you’re running for the position you chose

This must be done by 5 PM Tuesday April 18(next week). This information will be posted on Facebook and we will be discussing the candidates at the meetings on Wednesday and Thursday next week. We will be voting through Volink.

Below is a short explanation of each officer role along with the current officer’s email address if you have any questions:

The President oversees all chapter operations and acts as a liaison between the other officers and the faculty advisors. The president must hold other officers accountable to fulfilling their duties and make sure that the organization is run smoothly. [log in to unmask]

The Vice-President works to help the president and other officers perform their roles. They will help run meetings and plan events. [log in to unmask]

The Secretary takes minutes at officer meetings and helps create the agendas for chapter meetings. They are extremely helpful with getting information out to members in an organized manner. [log in to unmask]

The Treasurer handles the monetary operations of the chapter in regards to dues, money raised through fundraising, and merchandise sold. [log in to unmask]

The Corresponding Secretary is in charge of keeping track of all of the members’ points. The corresponding secretary must be willing to input data in a timely and organized manner and respond to emails from members. [log in to unmask]

The Webmaster works to keep information online updated and available to the members. [log in to unmask]

The Historian captures our chapter community service and other activities through photographs. The historian works with other members to create a chapter scrapbook that is submitted to national headquarters. [log in to unmask]
