We are lucky to be filling our permanent position for Inventory & Monitoring Coordinator <https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/457657000>  in FWS R5 (northeast region) National Wildlife Refuge System before the potential (if not certain) federal hiring freeze come January.

Supervisory Inventory & Monitoring (I&M) Program Specialist - Interdisciplinary-GS-0401/0408/0485/0486-13 (FPL 13) This is a full time Permanent position with the USFWS, Region 5, NWRS Division of Natural Resources (DNR) located in Hadley, MA. 
As Supervisory Inventory & Monitoring Program Specialist, your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

*	Develop, implement and provide oversight to a collaborative and coordinated biological inventory and monitoring program, with local, state and/or federal agencies, individuals, and non-governmental agencies for addressing natural resource issues.
	
*	Provide professional leadership, guidance and expertise to field biologists in the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of field investigations and monitoring activities.
	
*	Review and provide authoritative advice on formal and informal research proposals, field investigations, monitoring/inventory plans, and scientific reports and publications.
	
*	Ensure that inventory and monitoring projects meet study objectives; are statistically valid and cost effective; and provide interpretations valuable to Regional mangers and/or to the National inventory and monitoring program.
	
*	Work within a team environment, including setting priorities and assigning them to staff.
