Full-Time Position: Transportation Planner

Location: Miami, Florida, United States

 

Renaissance Planning is currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and career minded transportation planner. Qualified candidates should have:

• A minimum three years of experience in transportation planning; additional experience in freight planning is a bonus but not required

• An interest in working within a South Florida (Miami) transportation public agency environment working on regional freight planning initiatives

• A firm understanding of the transportation planning and public decision-making processes to support multimodal evaluations at the system, subarea and corridor planning levels

• A strong core competency in integrated planning approaches, critical thinking, task management, effective communication/storytelling (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills

• A desire to support stakeholder-based engagement/initiatives in planning

 

The primary responsibilities of the position include conducting policy and technical analyses, summarizing analytical findings into compelling narratives, graphics and other communication work products, compiling and applying best practices, working with community stakeholders, and other related tasks.
