Job Description
This job is at a prestigious international school located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The school has hired a full time permanent librarian
but due to visa delays the full time librarian will not be available for several months. As a result, this school is seeking an interim librarian for the next 2-3 months.
The job of the Library Media Specialist is to ensure that all students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
The Librarian Media Specialist will create and manage a library with comprehensive and appropriate books, resources and materials (both in print and electronic) that allows access to all students, staff members and parents. In addition, the Librarian
Media Specialist will collaborate with grade level teams to ensure a rigorous and vibrant International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED |

Native English Speaker

Available for immediate departure

Degree in Library and Media Studies, or equivalent,
from an accredited university

Leadership in the area of information resources

Awareness of students developmental needs and learning capacities

Salary and Benefits |

Monthly tax free salary ranging from SAR 20,000 to SAR 25,000 (USD $5,332 to $6,665) – commensurate with experience
