The Cumberland Chapter of URISA will be holding their annual meeting on January 9^th and 10^th at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. Details are currently scarce but more will be available soon at http://cumberlandurisa.org/events.html.

 

For those unfamiliar with URISA, it is a professional GIS organization that has been around since the 1960’s and they offer workshops, training, as well as geospatial advocacy and even have a team of volunteer GIS users who help with natural disasters called GIS Corps.
