Sorry for duplication:

The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is looking for an
energetic, forward-thinking librarian to serve as its next Assistant
Library Director.

Clarksville is located in Montgomery County, Tennessee a short fifty-minute
drive to the northwest of Nashville. Montgomery County was the second
fastest growing county in Tennessee between July 1, 2013, and July 1, 2014,
and the library now has a service population of over 190,000. Clarksville
and Montgomery County are anchored by Ft. Campbell military base, home of
the 101st Airborne Division, Austin Peay State University and several large
industrial plants including Akebono, Bridgestone, Agero and Hankook Tires.
The cost of living is low in this thriving community, which now includes
amenities such as Liberty Park, Clarksville Marina and the award-winning
Clarksville Downtown Market.

The library is currently in the planning stages for an expansion of library
services that calls for building its first ever branch library. This
project is proposed to be completed by the year 2020. We are looking for a
capable Assistant Director to help us fulfill this mission and to help
direct the day-to-day operations of the current 74,000 square foot main
library located in downtown Clarksville. The Clarksville-Montgomery County
Public Library has a budget of just over 2 million and forty-five people on
staff.

The Assistant Director position description can be found at the library’s
website:https://mcgtn.org/library/about/employment or at the Montgomery
County employment page: https://mcgtn.org/human-resources/employment.
Starting salary for the position is $56,560.94. The position closes on
