Knox County Health Department is seeking a SharePoint Developer to provide on-site support on its SharePoint implementation Project. This a temporary position that will provide continuity
to the initial efforts made in house to develop a SharePoint main page and extend it to the departments.
Job Responsibilities
·
Building SharePoint Sites, Apps, and Pages for the on-premises SharePoint server.
·
Working with members of the IT group and Department Managers to understand end users’ needs
·
Support the process of moving network files to SharePoint
·
Ensure that published documents can be searched and found.
·
Creation of SharePoint Sites for different areas/departments within the Health Department.
·
When necessary, research and recommend third party tools to solve a business need or create custom web parts
Position Requirements
·
IT related Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work experience or professional certification(s)
·
1 year experience in SharePoint 2013 development
·
Understanding of site collections and web applications.
·
Understanding of InfoPath forms
·
Experience with SharePoint Libraries, Lists, and Workflows developed in Workflow Developer.
·
Experience with Excel and Access Services
·
Experience with tagging and taxonomy
·
Strong communication skills both oral and written with team members and end users
