John Yaist from ESRI will be on campus tomorrow as part of the VolHacks event being held this weekend on campus. John will be around to answer questions about the event and to discuss the larger role that programming plays in GIS.

 

I believe that there is still time to register if you are a student for the event. ESRI is sponsoring a “Best Use of ESRI Technology” category and is giving away quadcopters to the winning team.

 

To learn more join us in Burchfiel Geography Building 405 between 11:35 am and 12:30 pm. This will be a very informal discussion so you are welcome to drop in anytime during that period.
