****FALL 2016 SEMESTER REMINDER*****

 

If you have not turned in your enrollment certification form for fall please do so. I have attached a form to this email.

 

If we have already processed your enrollment for fall you should have a confirmation email from VA ONCE.

 

If you are using post 9/11 benefits we submit your hours of enrollment first. Then we go back and submit an amendment to the VA with tuition and fee charges.

 

****REMEMBER****

1.     This is a peak processing time for VA. It can take up to 10-12 weeks for VA to process your payments. You can check the status of a payment by calling 1-888-442-4551.

2.     BAH for post 9/11 recipients is paid one month behind or 4-6 weeks after certification for the first BAH payment. August is NOT A FULL MONTH so your BAH for AUGUST WILL BE  A PRORATED AMOUNT.

3.     If you add or drop classes please notify us at [log in to unmask]

4.     Dropping a class can adjust your fees and this may cause you to be in debt to the VA if the class is dropped on the first day of class or after classes begin.

 

****FEE DEFERMENT****

 

In the next few weeks we will be processing your fee deferments on your myutk account. The enrollment form must be turned in 2 weeks prior to the payment deadline to ensure processing of the fee deferment before August 15th, 2016.

 

You can check to see if you have the deferment by logging into myutk. Click view/pay fees and the “fall 2016 veterans deferment plan” will show on your account. If it does not show up by August 12th on your myutk please email us at [log in to unmask]
