for two
(2) innovative,
enthusiastic individuals interested
in providing
general and
specialized
reference services
for
library
users,
applying
new technologies
to reference
services, participating in
user-centered, subject specific
instruction through
general orientation
sessions, course
integrated instruction,
including online
instruction and as
an embedded
librarian in
online courses.
SHSU's
campus of
20,000 students
is located
50 minutes
north of
Houston
in Huntsville,
Texas. Duties
include providing
reference assistance,
one evening
per week
and rotating
weekend
hours; participates
in collection
development. An
ALA accredited
Master's Degree
is required;
desired: subject
background in
one of
the behavioral
sciences, i.e.
education, criminal
justice, psychology,
etc. Salary
dependent on
qualifications;
minimum
salary is
$46,000
for this
entry level
positions. Materials
