Geographers: A quick look at enrollments this morning indicated that there are still openings for the GEOG 445 (Cities in a World System) course for the Fall semester. I've attached a a syllabus for your perusal. In addition to being an interesting course, it has the potential of fulfilling several requirements (albeit, not at once), such as: - upper-level human geography - upper-level foreign studies within the College, for pre-catalog year 2015 majors - geography electives at the 300+ level For those students interested in taking a second major or minor, this course also counts toward Global Studies. In many cases, one can double-count (within a certain limit) courses between Geography and Global Studies. Thanks, Ron Kalafsky ________________________ Ronald V.
