Hey Dr. Gray,

I hope you are doing well.  I’m looking for a Wetland Reserve Program Intern for this summer and fall/winter for recent graduates (We have funding through Feb).  It pays well for an internship, and I will be selecting the individual for this position within the next 7-14 days.

This position would be mainly assisting with our monitoring our of WRP easements, assisting with restoration, invasive species eradication, and other wetland duties as assigned.  They would operate out of our Jackson Area Office and get a chance to work with me, the Area Soil Scientist, and the Area Engineer on a wide variety of wetland tasks.

They would be outside 80% of the time, operating an ATV and GIS trimble units.  I need a self-motivated individual who can get tasks done with sometimes very limited supervision.

Let me know ASAP if you have any interested candidates as they would need to apply through SCA.  I might be able to help with that process if you have a strong candidate.

Big Thanks!
