EPA Toxicity Data Support Associate Job - For Recent Bachelor's Grads

The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for a Toxicity Data Support Associate to join the team at the National Center for Computational Toxicology at the EPA facility in Research Triangle Park, N.C. The Associate will be involved in improving environmental risk assessments and chemical safety through working with the Toxicity Reference Database system.


  *   Full-time, $20.34/hour, expected to begin June 2016
  *   Must have earned a bachelor's degree in biology, toxicology, chemistry, bioinformatics, statistics, computational biology, math, physics, information science, or a related field
  *   Must have education/experience in toxicology, biology, in vivo studies, and relational databases, as well as a working knowledge of R-language programming, MySQL databases, and Microsoft Office Suites
  *   Will perform tasks including data management, curation, and analysis, which involves running data tests, developing data visualization tools, creating scripts for reports, developing data models, and other related tasks
