Good afternoon everyone,
Some of you may be aware of the Research Capacity Catalog, one of the websites maintained by the Office of Research and Engagement. The catalog was created to help promote the University of Tennessee Knoxville as a premier research institution.
It is used to advertise particular programs, to identify and encourage collaboration among researchers, scholars, and students within UT and at other universities, to promote the creation and use of ORUs or Organized Research Units, and to provide assistance
in seeking funding.
Unfortunately, over time, several of the entries in the catalog have lain fallow and some have fallen out of date. We are taking on a long range project to update as many of them as we possibly can and thought we’d begin by contacting all
of the communicators who may oversee entries of this kind for their departments so that we can update the language and information throughout the catalog.
If you could take the time to visit the page and look through the relevant department/category list and see if there is anything that needs changing, we would very much appreciate it!
