ETMAC would like send a huge thank you to the University of TN Athletics department for going above and beyond to honor our Military/Veterans and Military Kids over the next two weeks.  We are encouraging you to attend these events to show your thanks and appreciation for the support and kindness UT Athletics shows to our military community.

Below are the details for the two games that will showcase UT’s appreciation of our military families and veterans:

Tuesday, April 12 – Official Navy Week game honoring our local Navy personnel and all of the U.S. Navy personnel visiting Knoxville for U.S. Navy Week.

UT will play Appalachian State at 6:00 pm at Lindsay Nelson Stadium.  Our local Navy Reserves Commander, LCDR Jeremy Farmer, will be throwing out the first pitch!!  Admission tickets are only $2 and all drinks and popcorn will be $2 each through the 4th inning!!  Also, the incredible U.S Navy Band will be performing at this game, so take advantage of this great opportunity to hear them in person!

Sunday, April 24 – Military Appreciation Day and official Kids Day with special recognition of Military Children in attendance.

UT will play Vanderbilt at 2:00 pm at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.  Current military members and veterans, just present your Military ID or DD 214 at the Gate upon entry to Lindsey Nelson Stadium for free admission for yourself and your immediate family. Seating based on availability.  ALL Children 12 and under receive FREE admission and the opportunity to run the bases and get autographs following the game!

Let’s try to pack these stadiums and show UT Athletics how much we appreciate all they do for us.

Unit Commanders, I would appreciate if you would please forward this email to your unit personnel.  Thank you so much!

Regards,
