EPA Data Curator
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for EPA Data Curator for the EPA Research Triangle Park facility in Raleigh-Durham, NC. The Curator will provide pharmacokinetic data and model curation support for
National Center for Computational Toxicology’s (NCCT) efforts in building a dynamic set of toxicokinetic resources. The job is expected to begin May 2016.

Full time, $20.34/hour

Must have earned a Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, biology, chemical engineering, chemistry, computational biology, computer science, information science, math, pharmaceutical science, physics, statistics, toxicology,
or a closely related field

Must have demonstrated education and/or experience in a programming or scripting language, a working knowledge of relational databases, and a working knowledge of pharmacokinetics

Will perform tasks such as creating and managing scripts and workflows, extracting pharmacokinetic data and models from scientific publications, developing automated tests to ensure data integrity, participating in team data
and code reviews, maintaining records and tracking projects, participating as a member of a multi-disciplinary research team, and documenting curation, code, and database development efforts
