EPA Science Communications Staff Associate - Two Open Positions

The National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) at the EPA facility in Washington, D.C. is looking for two Science Communications Staff Associates to assist with planning, analyzing, creating and executing information on NCEA scientific assessment projects through print and electronic media, for both external and internal publication. Job is expected to begin April 2016.

·         Full-time, $21.48/hour

·         Must have a bachelor's degree in biology, public health, toxicology, or a related science discipline

·         Must have experience in human health and ecological risk assessment, possess strong communications/writing skills, and be able to utilize Microsoft Office applications and graphic design software

·         Will develop internal and external web content, technical reports, science features, newsletters, infographics, and other forms of media, develop communications strategies, assist in event planning, and other related communications and administrative tasks
