Description: The U.S. Department of Transportation invites you to join DOT officials in an interactive discussion on the future of freight movement in America, including freight provisions in the FAST Act and the draft National Freight Strategic Plan. Improving the nation’s freight network is a key priority for the U.S. Department of Transportation, and we would like to use this opportunity to gain insight on the trends and challenges facing freight transportation over the next 30 years.

If you have not yet participated in Talking Freight, I encourage you to do so. These monthly seminars, sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration, are held via web conference, which means that you view the PowerPoint presentations over the Internet while listening to the presenters over your computer or the telephone. There is no cost involved and you do not have to leave your desk to participate. Talking Freight seminars are eligible for 1.5 AICP Certification Maintenance Credits (for AICP members).
