The Archivist and Special Collections Librarian shall be directly responsible for the organization and bibliographic control of the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum's archives and rare book collections and the Lincoln Memorial University Archives and Special Collections. Digitizes photographs, documents and other materials and oversees others in digitization projects. This is a shared position between the library and museum departments. Work time to be divided sixty percent for the museum and forty percent for the library. Qualifications; Required: ALA accredited MLS with formal coursework or training in archival studies. Preferred: Certified Archivist, if not certified, must be willing to obtain certification as Archivist, additional advanced degree in history or related studies and experience in digitization.
