Colleagues:
My colleagues (Lizzie King, Nate Nibbelink) and I are recruiting for a PhD student to study plant community dynamics and ecological stressors on a Georgia
barrier island. The work will entail field data collection, modeling, and identification of stakeholder values in the context of a structured decision making framework. We are offering a 4-year ($20K/yr) research assistantship through the Warnell School
of Forestry and Natural Resources and the Integrative Conservation PhD program at the University of Georgia. We are very interested in candidates who have quantitative skills and an interest in value-oriented decision making. Please see the attached for
full details of the assistantship and how to apply.
Thanks for spreading the word to interested candidates.
