This search includes Cornell faculty positions that are part of the Jacobs Institute at Cornell Tech. These faculty positions are based at the Cornell Tech campus, which is located in temporary facilities in Manhattan until moving to its permanent home on Roosevelt Island. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have a demonstrated ability to conduct outstanding research and education. In keeping with the mission of Cornell Tech, applicants must also have a strong interest in activities that reach beyond academia for external engagement and impact, in areas that may include technology commercialization and entrepreneurship, or activities with non-profit organizations, government and policy issues, international programs, or pre-college (K-12) education (significant record for senior positions). For this academic year, we expect to make appointments at any ranks, including consideration of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor positions; but with primary emphasis on the ranks of Associate or Full Professor.
