Priority registration for spring semester
courses begins next week. All other registration groups will open in the following weeks.
Check your registration date and time by clicking “View Registration
Status” in MyUTK. Be prepared to register when it is your scheduled time: review the timetable of classes; meet with
your academic advisor as needed; and resolve any holds on your account that may
prevent registration. Registration and deadline information is available at One Stop.

ESPN’s SEC Network will broadcast its live
SEC Nation program from the south lawn of Ayres Hall from 10:00 a.m. to
noon this Saturday. Fans will be admitted to a viewing area near the show stage and are
encouraged to arrive by 8:00 a.m. Students are encouraged to bring signs that show
school spirit and are appropriate for a TV audience.

Use your leadership skills and your Big
Orange pride to welcome new students and families to campus by serving as an
Orientation Leader or a Family and Guest Orientation Leader. Help guide admitted
students and their families through several one- and two-day orientation sessions
throughout the year. If you are interested in learning more, attend an interest session at
5:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, in Hodges Library Room 213. Applications are due October 29.

Greg Meinweiser is pursuing a
master’s of science in nuclear engineering and has been heavily engaged in
community service and outreach activities, especially with middle and high school
students, through his involvement with the STEMpunk Reverse Science Fair, Tennessee
