Dear Geography Students: Spring graduation for undergraduate Arts & Sciences students will be held on Saturday, May 14 from 9 AM-11:30 AM. The graduate hooding will be Thursday, May 12 from 7-9 PM. You may recall that last spring the campus attempted to have all graduations between Wed - Friday with no Saturday graduation program. This proved to be logistically very, very difficult - in part because of traffic problems. But more importantly, the parents of many students were very upset at the graduation in the earlier part of the week because it prevented so many from attending. Thus, the 3 largest colleges have been moved to Saturday to better accommodate families wanting to attend.
