The first Lunch and Learn of the year,
hosted by the UT Libraries Diversity Committee and the Office for Diversity and Inclusion,
begins at noon on Tuesday, September 15, in the Hodges Library Mary Greer Room.
Ernest Brothers, associate dean of the Graduate School, will facilitate a discussion on how
to promote civility on campus while recognizing and appreciating the diversity of
individual and collective abilities and achievements. Bring your lunch; snacks will be
provided.

Help the Young Americans for Freedom
create a memorial consisting of 2,977 flags to commemorate the lives lost on September
11, 2001. The group will gather at 8:00 p.m. tonight beside the HSS Amphitheater to
construct the memorial. The flags will stay in place all day on September 11.

The organization will be selling buttons from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Pedestrian
