UTPD has expanded its reach by opening an
annex office in Hodges Library. UTPD officers are staffing Room 135 from noon to
2:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. In this new location, UTPD officers can take
police reports, register students’ valuable items through their Operation ID program, and
answer questions from students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Red Zone is a term used to describe the
period in the fall semester when students are statistically more at risk for sexual assault.
Pop-up Red Zone installations will be placed around campus this month
where you can sign a pledge, learn facts about the Red Zone, and receive a “Does Not
Mean Yes” T-shirt.

The City of Knoxville, the Cumberland
Avenue Merchants Association, and Merle 96.7 will host the Brick by Brick
Pregame on the Strip from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. this Saturday on Cumberland Avenue.
The closed-street event will feature booths with food vendors, games, souvenir
giveaways, and music.
