Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is examining
possibilities of expanded trolley service locations to areas including the Old City and the
downtown waterfront area as well as evaluating expanded options for late night service
and increased frequency of trolleys. If you ride the trolley, take a moment to fill out this
quick survey to help them make changes that will benefit our student riders.

Expo from noon to 6:00 p.m. tomorrow in Thompson-Boling Arena. Visit dozens of
nonprofit organization booths to learn more about local volunteer opportunities and
internships or participate in an on-site service project.

The College of Engineering invites the
campus community to hear astronaut and UT alumnus Barry “Butch”
Wilmore speak at 2:00 p.m. this Friday in Alumni Memorial Building’s Cox
Auditorium. Wilmore spent six months in space aboard the International Space Station,
having previously flown the space shuttle Atlantis.

The Congressional Internship
Program is a scholarship and nomination program that gives students an opportunity
to work with Tennessee’s Legislators in Washington, DC. Applications for spring 2016
internships are due at noon on Monday, September 28. You can attend an info session at
4:00 p.m. this Thursday in the Center for Career Development Room 229.

The Office of Undergraduate Research has
partnered with the Center for International Education and the EuroScholars program to
give students the opportunity to conduct research abroad at a top European research
university. The office will be offering two scholarships of up to $2,500 for students
accepted as EuroScholars. Learn more about
the program during an info session at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow in the I-House
Community Room.

recyclables at Neyland Stadium or in tailgating areas during this Saturday’s game against
Oklahoma. You’ll receive food and a free T-shirt for helping out with game day
recycling.
