Description: The Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) is nearing a three-year milestone since being enacted in October 2012. The law contained a new emphasis on freight transportation, establishing
a requirement for a National Freight Strategic Plan and National Freight Network, and introducing provisions related to performance measurement, state freight plans, and state freight advisory committees.
Representatives from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Office of Freight Management and Operations will provide an update on the status of these provisions. The webinar will allow for discussion and questions from the participants.
