Hello Campus Communicators,

This message is for those of you who are administrating or maintaining a website that uses the 2012 or 2007 UT Templates. In the near future (currently scheduled for mid-December) the server hosting the main website will be upgraded to a newer server. This means that many of the websites in the utk.edu domain will need to be updated as well.

In short, if you are *not* running the new 2015 Templates, you are likely referencing assets that are currently stored at www.utk.edu. These assets include images, javascript files, and stylesheets. When the new server is turned on, those assets will no longer be served from www.utk.edu.

Working in conjunction with OIT, the Office of Communications & Marketing has already migrated those assets to a new server. This means that you can update your sites now and avoid a last-minute scramble before the holidays to fix a “broken” website. To update your site, simply update all references to assets on “www.utk.edu” to point to “images.utk.edu” instead.

For example:

Change: `http://www.utk.edu/stylesheets/templates/stylesheets/oldbrowsers.css` to `http://images.utk.edu/stylesheets/templates/stylesheets/oldbrowsers.css`.

Attached is a text document that goes into further detail. You will need to make these changes by December 14.

Let us know if you have any questions at [log in to unmask].

**Note**: If you are hosting a WordPress site with Communications and Marketing, we have already made the changes to your site and no action on your part is required.

Thanks
