Sevier County government is accepting applications for the position of Library Assistant I.  The primary activity associated with the job involves the coordination of a variety of children’s reading and related learning programs.  Additional activities include assisting with circulation desk activities, registering and assisting library patrons, shelving books and participating in special events and programs.  Job responsibilities require experience working with children preferably in a Public Library setting, good organizational, interpersonal, presentation and decision making skills and strong computer skills.
