Everything You Need to Know About Your VolCard

Because the off-campus merchants program is new, there have been some questions about which plans can be accessed when you use your VolCard and which can be used as currency at on- and off-campus locations. There are three plans available to you—Dining Dollars, Flex Plan, and the VolCard Debit Account. Learn about each of the plans and where you can use them.

More Equipment, Study Space, Collaboration at the Libraries

UT Libraries has started the semester with several new features available to you, including an added partner in the Commons, a silent room, a scholars’ collaborative, equipment checkout in the Commons, and a room reservation system. Learn more about all of the new options you can utilize throughout the year.

UT Launches Experience Learning Initiative

Experience Learning is a bold new initiative to transform the educational experience for undergraduate and graduate students at the university. Over a five-year period, UT will be expanding opportunities for students to be involved in civic engagement. Students benefit by learning to solve real-world problems and contribute to the welfare of communities as part of their coursework.

Serve Your Fellow Vols as a Member of SGA

The Student Government Association helps to improve campus life for our students. Members are needed for various committees, including Academic Affairs, Diversity Affairs, Environment and Sustainability, Government Affairs, and UT Traditions. Get involved with SGA by filling out their interest form.

OUTreach: LGBTQ+ and Ally Resource Center Now the Pride Center

The Pride Center is an integral resource for LGBTQIA students, faculty, and staff. Now in its sixth year on campus, the center has evolved to a full-fledged office with an array of programs, services, and resources. Representatives of the center selected the new name after speaking with students, faculty, staff, alumni, the Commission for LGBT People, the Office for Diversity and Inclusion, senior administrators, and peer institutions.

College can be a fun and exciting experience, but it can also be challenging, overwhelming, and stressful. If you need help or if you are worried about a fellow Vol, observe a behavior that makes you uncomfortable, or you feel like a fellow Vol may harm themselves or others, call 974- HELP for support. Learn to detect the signs of a struggling student and what you can do to help.

Sign Up Easily with My RecSports

RecSports has launched a new online course registration system called My RecSports. View facility schedules and course offerings, sign up for group fitness and CPR/First Aid classes, and check space availability for upcoming events.
