Icove is Quest Scholar of the Week
David Icove, the UL Professor of Practice in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, was recently awarded one of the top honors in his field as he was chosen a fellow of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers. Quest, the campus's comprehensive research initiative, has selected Icove as its Scholar of the Week. Read more...

Sexual Misconduct Policy in Place After Year of Review

The Policy on Sexual Misconduct, Relationship Violence, and Stalking, which became effective August 19, represents a year of review and work involving stakeholders from across campus. The Sexual Misconduct Policy Task Force, made up of faculty, staff, and students, ensured that all feedback and viewpoints were considered in the review of the interim policy first introduced a year ago. Nine public sessions were held during last year, and the diversity of viewpoints represented helped to make the policy stronger, more transparent, and easier to understand. Read more...

Professor Quinn Named Chancellor Emeritus
Physics Professor John Quinn, who served as chancellor of UT from 1989 to 1992 under then-president Lamar Alexander, has been named chancellor emeritus. Quinn recently retired after a fifty-seven-year career in academics, twenty-six years of which were spent at UT. Read more...
