Dear GRC:

Given the interest of many GRC members in herpetofaunal pathogens, I wanted to inform you of a new Disease Task Team that was formed in North America by the Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC):

The goal of this task team is to facilitate and guide communication and collaboration on herpetofaunal diseases among PARC regions, government agencies, and other partners.

As an initial task, the team is leading organization of a North American Strategic Plan for Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans.
