TOPIC:  Announcement:  Public Meeting on MAP-21 Comprehensive Truck Size and Weight Limits Study

This notice is to inform you that the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will hold a virtual public meeting regarding the MAP-21 Comprehensive Truck Size and Weight Limits Study (CTSWLS) on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 1:00 PM ET. The meeting will provide an overview and answer questions regarding the recently released technical reports related to the CTSWLS (found here - http://ops.fhwa.dot.gov/freight/sw/map21tswstudy/technical_rpts/index.htm). The meeting will also include an update on the remaining tasks to complete the final Report to Congress. This meeting will be recorded.  

 

Registration for this virtual meeting will be available after 12:00 PM ET on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at:  http://ops.fhwa.dot.gov/freight/sw/map21tswstudy/index.htm.  A Federal Register notice formally announcing the virtual public meeting will be published in the next few days. In addition, the public docket for comments (FHWA-2014-00350) on any aspect of the CTSWLS, including the technical reports, will remain open until the Final Report is submitted to Congress or until further notice by FHWA.
