Beginning at sunrise, volunteer readers composed of students, veterans, Gold Star families, community leaders, active duty, guard and reserve service members will join the friends and families of the fallen in reading each of 6222 names inscribed on the Memorial aloud. At the conclusion of the reading, the twenty one newly engraved names will be dedicated, followed by the annual Memorial Day service organized by the American Legion Post 2.
