Spring Semester Residence Hall Closings

If you are a non-graduating student, residence halls will close at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, although you are encouraged to check out twenty-four hours after your last final exam. Halls will close for graduating students at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9. Check with your RA for more information about check-out.

See You Saturday at the Orange and White Game

Grab your friends and head to the annual free Orange and White football game this Saturday at Neyland Stadium. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. and kickoff is at 4:00 p.m. Want to volunteer during the game? You can be a Waste Warrior and collect recyclables. Sign up to volunteer here.

Get Ready for Tomorrow’s Volapalooza

Have you reserved your ticket for Volapalooza? UT’s biggest annual concert begins at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow in World’s Fair Park with performances by Lupe Fiasco, the Cold War Kids, the Bad Suns, and more. Opted-in student tickets are free and non-opted-in student tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the gates.

Congratulations to April’s Courage to Climb Winner

Chloe Bliton, a senior in psychology, has served as a research assistant for the psychology department, focusing her research on personality disorders and intimate partner violence. Chloe spends a lot of time volunteering with the Helen Ross McNabb Center where she helps with a runaway shelter for adolescents and a transitional living program.
