Tomorrow’s Campus Emergency Exercise; Parking Changes

UT’s Office of Emergency Management will facilitate a full-scale exercise tomorrow to test campus plans for working with local response partners in the event of a serious emergency on campus or the surrounding area. Most of the activities will occur between 8:30 a.m. and noon on the west side of Neyland Stadium. Learn more about the exercise and adjustments to campus parking.

Student Appreciation Football Practice This Saturday

See our football team practice one week before the rest of the Vol fans arrive on campus for the Orange and White game. Grab your friends and head to the student appreciation practice this Saturday, April 18. Gate 4 opens at 10:45 a.m. and practice begins at 11:20 a.m.

Student Honorary Coach Applications Due Soon

The Office of the Dean of Students, in collaboration with UT Athletics, will recognize our university’s biggest Volunteer fans during this fall’s home football game weeks. The student will attend meetings and practice before the game, meet Coach Jones, join the team for pregame activities, and watch from the sidelines during game day as a student honorary coach. Applications are due Saturday, April 25.

This Chancellor’s Honors Banquet award recognizes students and student organizations for extraordinary contributions to campus life. Pendergrass Library Relocating Over the Summer

Pendergrass Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine Library will temporarily relocate over the summer. Students should check out books by May 8. Pendergrass staff will be available in Brehm Animal Science Room 243 for research assistance. Learn more about the relocation on the Pendergrass construction page.

Congratulations to the men’s volleyball club team for winning nationals in Kansas City this past weekend! A special congrats goes out to team member John Cook for earning MVP of the tournament. Learn how you can get involved in one of UT’s forty sports clubs next year.
