The position is an immediate need for the client. They are specifically looking for someone with manufacturing experience and jargon understanding. If you know anyone who fits the bill, feel free to forward this their way.
"A local manufacturer of machinery is looking for a talented Technical Writer. This will be a temporary assignment (approximately 2 - 3 months). This position will be responsible for working with every employee to learn details of each position and the standard operating procedures (SOP) that should be followed while performing certain duties and interviews. The Technical Writer will be expected to interview, create flow diagrams, and write SOPs and/or other policies, procedures, manuals, etc.
The Technical Writer will work with the Engineering Manager, et al for other manuals, policies and procedures, quality processes, etc.
