there’s no shortage of things to do on campus. From a variety of events
celebrating Black History month to a big Volapalooza announcement—you’ll have
plenty to keep you busy during the next few weeks. Here’s a list of five things to do in February on

that come standard with your computer or smartphone? Do you want a wallpaper and
calendar rolled into one? The Office of Sustainability has what you need. Make Orange
Green will roll out a set of themed desktop and smartphone wallpapers for you to
download and enjoy each month this year.

Recyclemania returns for its tenth annual
competition February 1 to March 28. UT Recycling has revamped the Residence Hall
Recycling Challenge, the month-long competition between residence halls to determine
which can log the most recycling and waste reduction activities. The winner will be
awarded a Sustainable Solutions prize as well as reusable water bottles for that hall’s
residents and staff.

UT will offer an interdisciplinary minor in entrepreneurship to all students from
all academic programs and fields of study beginning this fall. Interested students may
begin planning their schedules to accommodate the minor during the enrollment period
later this spring.

Aca-scuse me? Yes, you heard us right. Ten
southern collegiate a cappella groups will compete for a chance to advance to the national
stage. UT’s all-male group VOLume will compete, and UT’s female group
reVOLution will perform as a demonstration group. The event begins at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday in the Natalie L. Haslam Music Center. Tickets are $18 for students and can be
purchased here.
