Go Reusable and Save Money With the Mug Project

The life of a student is fast-paced, busy, and, unfortunately, often filled with throwaway cups, plates, and other food packaging items. By making a few changes you can reduce your daily waste and save money. Did you know that on campus you can receive discounts for bringing a reusable beverage container? The Mug Project provides incentives for students to ditch the single-use option by bringing their own mug or bottle. Learn more on the UT Recycling website.

You’re invited to read an excerpt from a favorite book by an African-American author during this Friday’s African-American Read-In. Join other students, faculty, staff, and administrators for the event from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Lindsay Young Auditorium of Hodges Library.

UT is committed to providing our campus community an environment that is both safe and civil. Do you know someone who is the victim of harassment, intimidation, coercion, or vandalism? If you ever experience or witness any act of bias or a hate crime, you should report it on the bias incident protocol and reporting website.

Haslam College of Business Launches Summer Online Courses

The Haslam College of Business will offer a selection of online courses beginning this summer. The Business Online Summer Session gives undergraduate students who are studying abroad, conducting internships, or living outside Knoxville during the summer an opportunity to take classes they need. Open to all majors; registration begins February 26.
