The answer is yes. No matter what year you
are in or your major, you can attend the fair to search for internships, jobs, or
networking opportunities. Many underclassmen think that attending a job fair
won’t benefit them at this point in their college career. Not true—it’s a
great way to get your name out there and make connections early.
Updated Vol Tip: Pre-registration is not an option for this
year’s Spring Job and Internship Fair.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is
accepting applications for ambassadors to serve as student liaisons for prospective
students and their parents visiting campus. Ambassadors lead daily campus tours and
share their perspective on life at UT. Deadline to apply is Thursday, February 12.

Stay on track to graduate, take your gen ed
courses, take an online class or two, or study abroad during summer classes. Start
planning your summer schedule now so you’ll be ready to sign up for summer
courses when registration begins February 26. The summer semester timetable will be
available Monday, February 16.

Head to the McClung Museum from 2:00 to
4:00 p.m. today for a Darwin Day birthday party with free cake. The celebration
continues Tuesday through Thursday with a series of lectures, contests, lunch talks, and a

Your first step to apply for grants, federal
work-study, scholarships—including the HOPE—and student loans for the 2015–2016
academic year is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Submit your FAFSA by Sunday, February 15.

The Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship
and Innovation is hosting three business plan competitions this semester–Vol Court,
Undergraduate Business Plan Competition, and the Boyd Venture Challenge. Sixty student
teams have been awarded more than $197,000 in funding to further their business ideas
since 2010. Any student with a business idea is encouraged to participate. Learn more
