Subject: NSF Postbac Fellowships: Become a Math or Science Teacher
Date: February 9, 2015 at 7:21:16 PM EST

Dear Professor,

Greetings. My name is Eddie Partida, and I am serving as the program coordinator for a large NSF grant recently awarded to Claremont Graduate University (Southern California). CGU runs a nationally recognized teacher education program, and I wanted to let you know about a new opportunity that might be of interest to your students (or graduating B.S., M.A. or Ph.D. candidates). Owing to this NSF grant, CGU is in a position to offer a number of fellowships (5-year, full-pay) that would allow STEM students to pursue a career in high-school science/math teaching. This program specifically targets Science and Math, and after successfully completing this program students would emerge with a Masters in Education and a California teaching credential – all virtually debt free. I would appreciate it if you might consider posting and/or sharing it with your students. Thank you.

With regards,
Eddie Partida

[Teacher Education Fellowship]
