If you’ve ever wanted to live in a different
country—for a month, a semester, or a year—study abroad! Stop by the Study Abroad
Fair tomorrow for tips on how to get started and to hear about different programs and
summer internships. Meet students who have studied abroad and get information on
scholarships and financial aid. The fair is from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the UC
Ballroom.

been targeted to participate in work-from-home scams. Students have been receiving e-
mails to their school accounts recruiting them for payroll or human resource positions
with nonexistent companies. Learn more about the scam and how to protect yourself from
being a target here.

In addition to our bowl game win, UT
finished the season ranked second nationally out of ninety schools in the “Total Recycling”
category of the 2014 national GameDay Recycling Challenge. UT Recycling, along with
staff from Facilities Services and campus volunteers, teamed up to direct the Zero Waste
campaign in Neyland Stadium and tailgating areas.

So you just landed a job interview, but now
what? Attend this workshop to learn how to best prepare for your big interview. Topics
will include thinking about why an employer would want to hire you, researching the
employer, knowing what to expect in an interview, and dressing properly. The workshop
takes place at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, in Career Services, located in Dunford
Hall.

students who attend class regularly and take clear, legible notes. You can earn the

Alesha Nolen, a senior in kinesiology, knows
a thing or two about Volunteer spirit. She serves as vice president of both the collegiate
chapter of NAACP and the African Student Association and is a campus coordinator for
Teach for America. She also mentors first-year students through the Multicultural
Mentoring Program. She hopes to attend medical school or work for Teach for America
