Campus and surrounding areas have a lot
less activity going on as students, faculty, and staff leave for the holidays. With fewer
people around, there can be increased opportunities for theft. Whether you stay in
Knoxville or travel home, keep these safety tips
in mind.
Vol Tip: Staying on or near campus during the break? The T will run
on a limited schedule beginning December 12 and will not run from December 20 through
28. Familiarize yourself with the T winter break schedule here.

UT Recycling will be screen printing T-shirts
and posters from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. today and tomorrow outside of Hodges Library for
America Recycles Day. You’ll receive a unique screen print after you sign a
pledge promising to recycle and become a Waste Warrior—someone who fights to reduce
their environmental impact. Students are encouraged to bring their own T-shirts to be
screen printed; however, UT Recycling will have a limited number of T-shirts and posters
available.
