Job Overview
The Acquisitions and Systems Librarian coordinates and provides access to timely scholarly research literature for IDRC staff and funded recipients in the most practical and cost-effective manner possible. S/he performs document delivery, organizes, administers and implements the acquisition of all articles, serials and books, and organizes and maintains the Library’s serials subscriptions.
The Acquisitions and Systems Librarian also serves as subject matter expert to provide advice on and serve as system administrator of various IDRC library systems. S/he coordinates systems setup, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting with application vendor and technical support staff.
