The Assessment Steering Committee was asked, "What are the anticipated deadlines for assessment this year?"

This is an excellent question and one we've gotten several times. We discussed this at our planning meeting and developed the following timeline for the 2014-2015 assessment cycle:

Early Fall (August-September - departmental retreats and/or faculty meetings):
*          Review actions
* Ensure that actions get implemented
* Ensure assessment activities will take place
Fall/Spring/Summer:
*          Carry out assessment
*          Collect data
Late Spring/Summer (May-June-July-August):
*          Analyze and interpret results
* Compare with last year's results, if applicable
Summer/Early Fall (August-September - departmental retreats and/or faculty meetings):
*          Share results with faculty
* Discuss progress on previous year's actions
* Identify new actions to be taken
No later than September 15, 2015:
* Finalize and have report completed in Compliance Assist for college and institutional review

Then repeat the following year.
